English Teacher

I teach English as a second language to 6th form students.

I started teaching ESOL to adults at EMBS in 2022. I moved to the 6th form and now teach young learners. I have taught all levels of English at EMBS, from low level learners all the way up to the higher levels. I have particularly enjoyed teaching the same students who return to EMBS in order to keep improving their English. Some of our 6th form students can be challenging, but my job is very rewarding.

In my free time I like making sculptures out of scrap metal with my bare hands, sports, and treating hand wounds.

«I arrived in this country four months ago, without any confidence in my English and really scared to be an independent person at sixteen.
