Maths Teacher and Designated Teacher for Banbury Campus.
My main role is to teach Maths across all levels including Entry Levels, Functional Skills and GCSE at both our Oxford and Banbury sites.
My role as Designated Teacher for Banbury campus is to work with students in care and liaise with Social Workers, Carers and the Virtual School to review attendance, wellbeing and progress.
I started working for EMBS on a part time basis in October 2019 before becoming full time in September 2020. Previous to this I was a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School working with children in care and children with special needs. Prior to this I also worked for a textiles factory, managed a Leisure Centre, worked as a postman for Royal Mail, worked in the benefits department of the Local Authority and performed many varied roles within The Employment Service Jobcentre including managing a benefits team. I have also at various times worked as a part time delivery driver alongside my main occupation.
In my spare time I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends. I love sport and my main passion is football which I still play and watch regularly. Until recently I also coached a local boys football team for 10 years. I also enjoy watching films, listening to music and dining out. I regularly go to concerts, shows and music and sports events. I also enjoy a spot of gardening to relax.
