I joined EMBS in October 2023 in the adult school, but moved to the sixth form team soon
after. My role involves planning and delivering English lessons to the Functional Skills ESOL
and GCSE students.
Before EMBS, I worked at a language school in Oxford and part-time at a nursery, which
was exhausting but fun!
I studied English Literature at the University of Birmingham and particularly enjoy creative
writing, which I love doing with my students in class. I love singing and listening to live music
in my free time, along with kickboxing and taekwondo.

«I arrived in this country four months ago, without any confidence in my English and really scared to be an independent person at sixteen. I didn't know what my next steps were since the education in my country is really different. One day, my aunt bought me to EMBS.
