Unqualified teacher/ learning and wellbeing officer

My role as a teacher/ learning and wellbeing officer is to plan and deliver both maths and English lessons, to offer support to students who may be facing challenges due to both education or their personal lives.

My journey with EMBS started in 2021 when I completed a 70-day placement whilst studying social work at Oxford Brookes University. I completed my degree in 2022 and soon after graduating I applied for the position of a learning and wellbeing officer at EMBS. My passion for teaching has since grown and I am now completing a teacher qualification course.

I enjoy socialising with friends and visiting new places.

«I arrived in this country four months ago, without any confidence in my English and really scared to be an independent person at sixteen. I didn't know what my next steps were since the education in my country is really different. One day, my aunt bought me to EMBS.
