EMBS is proud to announce that we have been awarded AMIF (Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund) funding which will allow us to increase the empowerment, participation and positive social interaction between our community and UASCs and Refugees in Oxfordshire. This is a 3 year project in which we are aiming to help over 300 learners. We will be offering additional and longer ESOL courses to participants as well as educational mentoring and employability support, to enable them to integrate positively in their local communities. The programme will give learners an opportunity to learn about all aspects of UK life as well as accessing local opportunities such as volunteering with a food bank; participating in exercise classes and walking groups and supporting local campaigns as part of the course.
