Having read Law at the University of Brighton, I began my career working within the Private Education sector for companies that specialised in delivering English language courses for international students. I came to EMBS in April 2013 after deciding I wanted to shift my focus to the not for profit sector, and work with an organisation that I felt made a real impact to the local community and the lives of the people that came through its doors.
During my time at EMBS I have had the opportunity to work across the organisation in a variety of different roles, which has allowed me to get a real sense of how the college operates from different perspectives. Presently I work as a Project Officer and Tutor in IT, English and Art.
EMBS is a wonderfully diverse organisation, and is a place where colleagues feel like family and the organisation feels like a real cornerstone in the local community; I am very happy that I made the move!
